[IRRA Retro Racing]

The following rule has changed under body (E) effective immediately

 

2b. Bodies cannot be trimmed above the lower door lines. The area to the rear wheel well may not be below the center line of the rear axle. Rear fender skirts are not allowed.

 

Body thickness and weight requirements remain the same: .012" hood, .008" sides both without tape and 10 grams with interior.

Noose Is raking he rear of body legal for side wall clearance?

A slight rake is allowed. Not all bodies provide total clearance but the more popular ones do when just cut along wheel well opening.

Is it legal to open (remove) side windows as the 1:1 cars do so long as the 10 gram weight is maintained? 

 

Also, on the Stock Car techsheet there are guide lead and wheelbase dimensions. Are these minimum, maximum, or required?

 

I still have a lot to learn about retro cars, so please bear with me if I am asking questions already answered elsewhere.
