1992, my son Jon and I would drive to Elmsford NY (two hours each way) Thursdays (I think) after school for the weekly GTP flexi races. Lou Del Rosario always had big races with nice payouts. Here are some certificates that we gathered up at the 1992 Winter Jamboree.

Jon was 15 at the time, this was the race that I realized he was a much better slotcar driver than I. I won GTP when his car broke, but he beat me in NASCAR. Wish I could remember the name of the local that won NASCAR, he spanked us pretty good. Maybe Frank something?

Aahhh... the days when the track owners would return race entry fees back to the racers in merchandise certificates. It brings back some good memories of days long passed.
