This is the box sticker, and the last one that I have. The actual size is 1"x2".
And the flyer:
I like the rules, they can't get much simpler.
I hope this brings back some pleasant(?) memories .
I am not a doctor, but I played one as a child with the girl next door.

You always have cool reports and data from way back thanks for sharing those with us.
Mike thanks for making this post great stuff.

In this bright future you can't forget your past.
BMW (Bob Marley and the Wailers)
United we stand and divided we fall, the Legends are complete.
I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.
Pistol Pete you will always be in my memory.

My local track owner at the time went, and managed to fry every motor he had!
IIRC, the power was a TAD on the HOT side.

Kenny Piccola The manager of Slotsalot Raceway was there...he can recall it like it was yesturday...ill be sure to ask him tommrow and post what he remembers about it....wow fred strauss, Ed Sohl... they still are racing, fred Strauss races retro again, and Ed Sohl is a accomplished USRA Wing car racer
Very happy that MG Brown found all that...the guys are gonna get a HUGE kick out of it...plus i got blackmail for all the crazy clothes they use to wear

If I can figure out how to scan and post, I will. It is neat and he did an excellent job. It has all the results!
Steve, any local print shop should be able to scan your Thrash-O-Gram, and burn it to a CD or flash drive. If you have any questions, please PM me. I have the last T-O-G put out before the race, but I've never seen the one that came out after.

I am presently in Africa on work assignment but will return to USA in May. I will scan and just hit the "insert image" button??? The picture on the front was "The Stork" waving his controller at the moment he won!!! I remember it well as I positioned myself to capture the MOMENT for the champion. Like Bob, it was memorable for me although I STUNK!!! Never made it out of the semis! BUT what a show. Up to that point, I had never seen motor changes like that!!! WOW! Normal now but then...exciting!

Is that stacks of $money$?
Yes; as I recall, the winner of the Pro main won $1001.00 (which is why if you look closely at the photo there is a Bicentennial Silver Dollar on top of the stack of 2's).

I still have the Silver Dollar. As far as the stack of cash. It was "500" brand new $ 2.00 Bills.

I remember that day very well, July 4th 1976 was the first time I got busted and spent the day in jail...1976 was a glorious day for this democracy of hypocrisy, and fortunately the Stork was sticken it to the man and racing slot cars and winning, this 1st place winning car is priceless and the LASCM should cough up megabucks for the Stork to even consider given it up.
Thanks a lot for the help, you, ex-convict!
It will be of course for Bob to decide what he wants to do with it. The LASCM would love to have it but the budget is no longer what it used to be to acquire new artifacts. Call it "recession" or whatever you want...
Thing is, if he donates the chassis because that is all that survived, there is a great chance for the car to be restored as a complete car, with the proper Bill Steube motor because the LASCM has a few (thanks to other nice gentlemen who donated some, like Joe "Chevy" Cormier), correct body with exacting replica paint etc. I don't think that it can be done anywhere else and we have a good track record to make them look nice... like this one, donated by Howie Ursaner:
That 1966 Bob Emott-built car needed a LOT of work but is now a star of the LASCM.
