Bryan and whoever else that was involved with this nice gesture makes me feel this is what it's all about in slot car racing.

United we stand and divided we fall, the Legends are complete.
I'm racing the best here at BP but Father time is much better then all of us united.
Not a snob in this hobby, after all it will be gone, if we keep on going like we do, and I have nothing to prove so I keep on posting because I have nothing to gain.
It's our duty to remember the past so we can have a future.

Soon as Howie finishes racing in the F1 Feature, I'll show him your post.

Congrats on your feature win in F1. Can I have that motor since I predicted your first place finish? LOL, LOL.
Seriously you are on fire like I said earlier. Congrats.

Remember, two wrongs don't make a right... but three lefts do! Only you're a block over and a block behind.

And the car... Tony P's winning F1 from the Big Freeze.
This was such a good race.
And to Billy "Ouch My Hand Hurts" Gerhart... no problem, bud. They are only toy cars.

Thanks to Rick Bennardo of R-Geo for a great new F1 chassis, It handled great and combined with some good PRI horsepower was right there with a chance to win, with only Ron on his "home" track standing in our way. Not a bad effort for our second race working together.
Congratulations Ron, you turned the most laps, and deserved to win.
Thanks to Mike and everyone at Tom Thumb for putting on a great event. It was cool to visit and race at the oldest raceway in the country, and fun to race on a "real" King track. Finally a King track I actually like racing on. If only there were more like it still left...
Howie, it really was fun racing with you, side by side, heat after heat. It took everything I had to stay with you! I look forward to our next race.

To quote "Sano" Dave (Dude)... "It's good to be Howie".To all the participants at the R4, please tell Howie Ursaner that a lot of the racers nationwide have chipped in and taken up a little collection to assist him in his comeback. Soldering iron, solder, brass, piano wire, tools, etc.
And... as a special bonus, a Mike Steube scratchbuilding DVD!!! He should receive it shortly.

An amazing race with fantastic racers reminded me of what this is all about and why I like F1. It's tough.
Great racing, Ron.
