Our original channel now shows the race monitor: Race monitor view
The new channel shows the King track: King track view
Open up two separate views (one of each channel) and watch both at the same time on your computer screen.

I'm sure that putting some clever minds together we can come up some things that could add 'scrolls' across the top of the screen showing lap counts, fastest laps, positions, etc.
Just think of this being the beginning of broadcasting slot car racing live to the rest of the world.
Hey, if you can't be racing, why not be watching?

Thanks Keith.

better racer, I really can see the value in this broadcast now.
Have to admit I though I was consistent, but no... way I was all over the place, I was not focusing enough, tape is evidence and the facts is on the broadcast what happened. Thanks Keith.
cheater my favorite nemesis, but you are not, had a good time smoking cartons of cigs. you almost killed me.

The webcasts are only going to get better as time goes on. Please remember that the webcasting of retro slot car races began at Sano III in October, 2009, just a few months ago. It has gotten better and will continue to improve.
We had a lot of technical issues at BPR. When I arrived on Friday, we could not get a wireless connection to the BPR broadband connection. I ran down the street and purchased a new wireless router, which resolved the wireless hookup but we still had a rather slow connection, about half of what it should have been according to www.dslreports.com.
On Saturday and Sunday, Craig Correia came to our rescue and everyone needs to give Craig a huge vote of thanks. He brought in a fairly new Toshiba laptop with 3 GB of ram and an unlimited Verizon wireless card. This is what we used for the track video feed on Sat and Sun. We relegated Keith's Mac laptop using the BPR net access to the lap counter monitor stream (and pushed down the resolution so it would work with the poor connection). Without Craig's help, we simply could not have done what we did.
I shudder to think of the cost of the bandwidth we used, had not Craig had an unlimited account.
Late in the weekend, Keith also discovered an intermittent connection at the power cord to his DV camera, which is why we think it dropped out so often. Oh well...
Nesta, I agree with you 100% that Keith deserves all the kudos, as he also took all the photos during the event, which is a bigger job than managing the video streams. Plus he raced some and even ran some of the Jail Door races. Compared to him, I took it relatively easy... LOL!!!

Thanks for mentioning Craig Correia. Without Craig's help, we would have had only one webcam going. Thank,s Craig.
As usual, Nesta is not 100% correct on his Slotblog posts. Cheater, you deserve most of the credit for the webcast. Without your help, we would have been in total chaos. It's nice to have someone with your experience to keep the webcast going.
I'm looking forward to future webcasts. Hopefully, sometime in the future we'll have Verizon "FIOS" at BPR. If that happens, "HD" may not be too far away.

Please don't cut yourself short you did a great job on this project and so did my cheater. He needs to stop smoking; he is worse then me.
Good show, loved it because I can see it as a training film for my f... ups as a driver.
So when is the next big gig Gentlemen? Need more excitement.
