Did the photos that way so you could see the details on these wee things. Figure it this way, if you put one of these next to one of our retro cars, it's length would be from the front nose to about the front door panel. Say about a 1/4 of the size of the retro body.

Oh, I know how small they are as I've seen some that Mac has painted for people. I thought that some of the other people might like to see that comparison. It blew my mind when Mac scratchbuilt an HO chassis and posted a picture of it next to a coin for reference!

Glad Chris is going to be able to come to the R4 (he suffered a heart attack and a bypass operation... last year, I think?). He's a fierce competitor, a heckuva a racer, and a friend for many years. We've raced against each other for literally decades. If he does well, he could snag the whole enchilada.

He was also a big help during our SERRA race last Saturday. You see, he got conned into teching Jay Guard's Can-Am... LOL!!!

Noose, your paintwork continues to astound. I enjoy this thread immensely.

Noose,

I think you deserve your own category because you earned it, maybe my Master can create a subforum for you and that would be so sweet. ;)

Have a feeling this tread is going to be the longest on the whole web and it will be nice place to visit to see what you have done lately.

Thanks, Nesta. This thread is just fine.

So.., here's a couple of mine I am getting ready for the R4/2 in Columbus. Some more details might be added.

JKTI22 for JK Spec Class

Posted Image

JK Lola GT for the GT Class - velocity stacks were replaced and the exhaust pipes added. Body was only a 1/2 gram heavier than one of mine without them.

I actually did most of these on Sunday. Yesterday with the foot of snow I did actually do some working from home and then did dabble a bit to finish these up.

Jeeze, Noose. Like I mentioned this past Saturday, I've always admired your blue on yellow Sunoco Lola (the one you had at Lou's). But, man, your new one, with the intake and exhaust, is just killer. I look forward to seeing it at the R4.

Noose,

That O/S Chevron Blue Angels car is astounding... you really outdid yourself on that one. I like it even a little better than the Sunoco car a few posts before... well done, sir.

Did this one up quick for Mark Greene for his new G-Force Ti22 body. There is a lot of carbon fiber effect in this but hard to tell here.
