What is in braid juice?

As the subject line reads: What is in braid juice?
Is it an oil? which I would think not as it's not a good conductor of electric? or is it? I do not know?
What effect does it have on a track's braiding IF used?
Just trying to understand why this is good thing or a bad thing?
Thank You again, for answering my silly questions that many of you may already know.

IF the juice is red color.... ATF Transmission fluid. Tiger Milk...... transformer oil.
So yes it's a oil.
It will cause the glue holding the braid on the track to soften and come loose over time. So I would not allow it to be put directly on the track braid.
More or less...... it stops arching between the braids on the car and on the track for a short period of time.... maybe after 5 laps the juice is gone and the arching starts.

The juice would likely not be a good conductor, but I definitely see less braid burning, and shinier, longer-lasting braid when used.
Harm to the track braid would seem unlikely due to the small quantity used. But, if anything, it would make sense the juice would have the same positive affects on the track braid.
We also smear a small amount on the outside sidewalls of one or both rear tires when the car is handling too tight.

My alter ego Chemical Ali has been experimenting with different oil and cleaners to keep the braids clean and to reduce braid burn. I think the stuff that Chemical Ali has come with has been working well. But there is a disclaimer about skin rashes and growing a third eye or arm!

So the worst case being that If used too much it could loosen the braid on the track? This surely doesn't seem like the best practice?

Would pure automotive silicone work? like the kind you dress up the plastic in your car? not the spray but a thick gooey, slimy liquid, it's a very slippery product, and now I don't know IF to take Ron serious in saying the slippery Vaseline?

Brian, you dont want to put enough on the braids that when you set the car down you can see it on the track. Rick M. has this new stuff the works great(in my opinion) and the braid sucks it in VERY nicely and never leaves it on the track. The braid looks very good after 250 laps.

Diesel fuel and Marvel Mystery oil. Used to work great "back in the day". But now that I'm a man of great wealth, I just by the pre packaged stuff. LOL.
Hmmmm I have some mystery oil, might have to give that a shot.
Brian as for the vaseline, ive heard the stories, just never seen it done. A bought some stuff off a guy one time and he has hair conditioner as his braid conditioner? Rick gets bored at the track and likes to snack on something while at the station.
HEY RICK, no coffee at the hookups lol

I think we also used to add a splash of mineral spirits too. It looked and smelled just like the stuff that Tony was talking about that Big Jim used to make called "Big Jim's Juice".

Big Jim would go to the local car wash with his quarters and jar and fill it with the bug remover.
Was the bug remover some kind of solvent?
