I think it was his God shirt that had the number 9 on it. Tony P said "hey..that's my number" and voodoo'd him to run less laps.

The track was so much better this year since you moved it and massaged it...... Swanson ran 294 last year and Howie ran 291 this year.... maybe Howie was just cruising?????

Being the track as so much better this year, I expected a 300 lap winning total.


FWIW, Howie was just short of 292.

IMO, 2 differences;
When you broke, Jay ran 33 on Purple and Howie went 38 on Blue, the race was effectively over after 5 heats
and I'm sure Howie was running at 97% the rest of the way.
Last year you hung around Ken the whole race.

Although the power supplies are set at 13.5V this year
vs. 13.0V last year, the power is probably a bit lower now because I don't
run any batteries. Last year I had four 8D's along with the supplies.
Although I never drove Kenny's car last year, it looked terrific.
I wish he would of saved it to defend his title this year.
