This Saturday at Buena Park Raceway they are hosting the Lions Dragstrip Reunion. This race requires either a model body or a resin body on all cars. They are all from that period from 1962 thru the 1970s that we geezers are fond of. Many of the cars are magnificent! Come out and check out the gassers, rails, altereds, and stockers.
Racing will include one heads up class, multiple index classes and the always hard fought bracket class.
The altereds for this race run heads up, can only run the glue on their tires, no roll outs or pre-gluing allowed. They are required to run a Group 20 in a C can. Can we say wheel spin and carnage, boys and girls?
The light at the end of the tunnel is almost always a train.
