Just a heads up guys. Anybody that's planning on attending RetroPalooza 2 and hasn't booked a room yet, you might want to do it very soon. It seems that there's a huge bowling tournament going on the same days as R.P. Right over our heads.
I called the Quality Inn and they made it sound like they gave me there last room for that weekend. So if your planning on coming I suggest you start checking motels soon. I would call the Quality Inn first as they were about the cheapest price I was able to find............Roger

We are working hard preparing for the event, aquiring t-shirt sponcers and class sponcers.

Soon we will post a pre-event schedule for practice and warm-ups leading to Retropalooza!

Anyone interested in being a shirt or event sponcer should contact fred@hvraceway.net or call 845-838-5333

I'll talk to Jim tomorrow. I would suggest we start the Jail Door Sports Cars and Stockcars later in the afternoon on Friday, say at 3 or 4 pm to give some guys to get at least a 1/2 day of work in.

:D Jens the drive from Newark to the raceway area is only about a little more than an hour. Are you renting a car? Nice fleet of cars you have there--they should work well!!!

Wooowww this looks like a huge competitive event! Jim's place was where I competed in my 1st Retro race last season. It is also the only race I ever failed to finish in any Series.

I plan on doing much better and look forward to seeing everyone again. My sister Dawn ordered me a good amount of Puppy Dogs to work with and Rocky helped me to pick out the best ones. After-all he should know.

He owed me for typing-up the North vs. South Shoot-Out report that he wrote.

The count down to see who the New Capo is on. We have the crew from Sweden, the R-Geo Crew, and the usual NJ hit squads coming. CT is sending their crew and of course the NY crew is already there. This should be a good meeting of the families.

Don't know if any of the mid-west crews are coming. They kinda stick to their own turf yanno what I mean? Not aware of any of the Southern crew coming but then again they may have their own underground goings on.

Remember the first action is da Jail Door one to let everyone out of the slammer for the rest of the events.

Every now and then we have to have an event like like this. It keeps the families straight.
