They may enjoy it or... not. The quote we got was pretty high and I am not sure that we could sell them at the price quoted... :|

Well, it was worth it to me. I'm sorry if everyone else fails to find value in something as rare as this. I guess it will be back to Ebay and the "Little Red Wagons" and "Cucaracha's" for everyone....we all like different things I guess :?

Rick, wha...hey, I love this stuff and I don't think I'm the only one! I spent my Sunday evening getting into bidding wars with Edo, rdmac and a few others on some old 16Ds and...5 slot Hemis. I even got smoked in the wars over a couple of C cans. . All I got were a couple of well loved Mura B motors which I can build a couple of two rail chassis around...or maybe the ill-fated Cukras Mura B endbell drive Dave Bloom painted spring steel McLaren M8.

More than a few of us really appreciate your posts and the effort put into this frame..

Yes, Rick, I love the frame, er... chassis and am totally inspired! Thank you for the beautiful tutorage...however, in my defense, the name Starret really didn’t' enter into the communiqué until Jeff mentioned it....

Rick, don't be sad, I for one (despite my love for cut-up Cucs ;) fully and deeply appreciate this project and the many others you have shown us. In fact, it's impossible to be insensitive to such craftmanship and we hope you will continue.

Dokk,
Will EDream make the kit? When will it be available and at what cost?
Kind regards,
Edo

Don't you guys realize it when P is softening you up? His post has no reflection on Rick's craftsmanship at all. :) What he said was it seems his supplier couldn't make the parts at a reasonable price. So check out some other sources. The Chinese must be into laser machining. Todd Radke, where are you when we need you? :)

The price quoted means that once the parts are packaged, the other bits are added, and the kit is ready to ship, we would be looking at slightly under $200.00 per KIT.
I don't think it would be feasible as we may sell what, two? Frankly, who would pay that kind of money? So I am afraid that at this time it is just not going to happen. :|

Assuming that Gary is serious, how many more would cough up that kind of money for one of those kits? :|

No thanks, I'm gonna hack a bootleg replica out with a dremel, build it up and sell it as an original on e-pay. Some how I gotta get P to sign it. Forget it. I'd end up in the nut house earlier than they expect me.

Edo, you got to start with something simple then build your way up. :) Surely you didn't just jump into the film industry & start making a major motion picture.

I would only pay that amount if Philippe de Lespinay personally hand cuts and fits each piece, then autographs it

...we would be looking at slightly under $200.00 per KIT.

Could you tell us, exactly, what would be included in the KIT?
Thanks for your effort, Rick.
