R to L, Larry Mattingly, Mike Iles (I think... Max and Mike are twins, with Mike having a cast on his right forearm but I can't see it in this shot!), Ralph Thorne, Big Mike Iles, Ron "Largenmouth" Hershamn, James Merriman, and Chris Barnes.
Big Mike Iles looks happy to be here, doesn't he? To his left is WIlliam McPherson and Matt Bruce. Eric Balicki leans away from the camera in the distance and Rande Marshall is visible back near the bank.
R to L, Chris Radisich, Chris Barnes (leaning over), Mike Iles, Ralph Thorne, Ken Green, and Howie Ursaner.
We haven't seen this much: Howie working on cars that he built himself!
Jay Kisling preaching the gospel to Mike McMasters, Chris Radisich, and Rick Bennardo.

Tell John Streisguth I'm watching him and good luck, and a little bit of skill. Awesome job!

Mike Swiss and "Manta" Ray Price just set up their pit. Looks like Jackie sent some homemade goodies in that green-topped container.
I'm catching some grief for bringing my little computer, but Vince Del Viscio brought his entire workbench!
Old slot racers often talk about how the tracks were so busy back in the day that you had to wait for lanes. At the R4, that situation still exists!
L to R, James Merriman, Chris Barnes, John Streisguth, Ken Green, Ralph Thorne, Jay Guard, Larry Mattingly, and Mike McMasters.

Good luck to all racers, especially the SERRA guys.
And thanks for the pics, Greg. There are many of us out here who wish we could attend, too.

There's still a pit space marked with your name, but all bets are off by ten AM tomorrow! LOL!!!

Mike McMasters says 13.6v nominal, from a pair of custom power supplies originally built to power the car stereo wall at an H. H. Gregg store!
Oh thanks just taking a look at lap times, Ron H. has some good running cars. Fast and handles well.
