Looks sweet Barn. Were you able to take care of my oversight with the com hitting the brush hardware? What was the final choice for gear ratio?

This chassis design came from our old Dinosaur races we had on our American Black back in the 80's. It's kind of a flippy, floppy, half Flexie design where the body and front wheels float on the main chassis by the front axle tube.

No respect at all to the more ornate builds, but your car has a real
"We need some more weight on this puppy, let's get it on and get it back on the track".
look to it.
The blog' equivalent of getting your point across with the least amount of keystrokes.
Awesome job, Barney.

I hope it runs and I hope it arrives on time. Just painted today and I have to finish the decoration and give the chassis a final cleaning. I hope to test it tonight. Sits like a 4X4 and has no pans. Lets see what happens.
Where can I find a brass tounge like the one on this car? Is it a Dynamic part?
All the cars entered are way kool.
Thanks,
Marty

Thanks! I had "Dynamic" on my watch list for a LOOONG time and never found one. Not that it has been several months since I was seriously looking, you find one for me.
Thanks again,

Extend the deadline another week and watch them rebuild their cars again and again.....
Totally unfair to those who met the deadline

Yeah, some waited for the last minute... it always happens. Two of them, received today by the way, were built during the last few weeks because they JUST HEARD about the proxy and wanted to play too!
So there!
Pablo, you built your car before we even started talking about this... please be patient.
Edo's car was not finished because the man was busy with "out of the office" photography. We will give him a pass and have his car join us for the second leg.
As for the track counter, I purchased the hardware last Friday.
Was not in the mail today so maybe tomorrow. I am not going to get too worried about it.

I think this is way fun and I checked out all the cars in the other tread of yours, lots of nice rides I sure hope they find their way down here in Southern Cali?
It must be a lot of work to arrange a proxy like this, I sure wish you all the best in this venture.
