This is the "Special Event" and 32 brave souls have signed up for it. Entry fee is $40 per man and must be paid to Noose or SpeedZone by June 1, 2011. If any drop out due to unforeseen circumstances or failure to pay, I will be in touch with those that did not make the sign-up in time.

"Crew Chiefs" have been assigned. They are:

Noose, Jay Kisling, Matt Bruce, John Gorski, Roger Ruggieri, Mike Katz, Chris Radisich, and John Streisguth

The Raffle noted on the poster is going to be done during the BBQ. Each team's members will be eligible to win the Tony P frame used or the Pro Slot motor used!

At 8 AM each of the assigned "Crew Chiefs" will be asked to pick up their body and a box when they choose a number out of a hat. The box will have the Tony P frame with fronts mounted, the motor, a set of tires, and a set of locking collars so tire changes can be done easier.

The rules:

· IRRA™ GT Coupe rules apply except we are using Pro Slot motors.
· Pro Slot motor given with Special Tony P frame with fronts and ball bearings installed. Chassis cannot be modified.
· One set of locking collars provided.
· Noose-painted O/S Ferrari 330P4.
· One set of tires provided by raceway – rest to be obtained from raceway. Must start race with tires issued. JK8763PTs will be issued. All other JK treated tires may be purchased for later use.
· Must use hand-out Pro Slot motor for at least two hours of race (unless it fails). Heat sinks can be used.
· If you have to replace a damaged front wheel/tire, it cannot be a ball bearing front tire.
· Spare motors and tires to be teched and impounded.
· Four-man teams – 45 minutes per lane – 11.5 minutes per man.
· 1 minute driver change – 1 minute lane change.
· All work to be done under "green".
· Tech at 2 hour and 4 hour mark.
· No qualifying. Lane assignments will be done at random by the computer.

The Teams - Car Numbers will be Team Number - Body Color selected by Crew Chief shown. Name in BOLD is Crew Chief. Red means paid to me and in Green they have paid the raceway..

Team 1 - Noose, Dave DeMott, John Molnar, Adam Chaya - Silver Blue with Black Stripes

Team 2 - Jay Kisling, Wes Pikunis, Hip Culy, Jeff Bates - Blue with Yellow Stripes

Team 3 - Matt Bruce, Derek Velez, Mikey Iles, Bruce Baughman - Orange with White Stripes

Very cool event.

Supplying the chassis, and with a non axle tube bracket with locking collars
is a great idea.

I wish I lived closer.

I wonder who dreamed that up three years ago??? ;)

You're close enough to Tom Thumb for the annual 6 hour enduro... Aug 13 this year with coupe bodies. Bring your own chassis, team mates and axle tubes and locking collars are optional :)

That poster would have looked even better with a OS logo on it. LOL

Bodies are in the mail to you.

Glad to support such a unique and fun event.

Maybe not. Matt's usual race colors are a silvery blue. He just has Tony's bodies on some cars and leaves them on there.

I will be posting the teams as soon as one guy reconfirms his attendance. They were picked at random at RP2.
