I made slips up and folded them and you could not see the name.
Each group, starting with A, was put into my hat, held high, and Jay picked the names one by one.
The groups came out well balanced and I will post them as soon as I hear back from 1 racer.

You must start with the tires issued and you cannot make any modifications to the chassis.

May be in the "too hard to do" category. Besides, 32 shirts may be too small a number to make it worthwhile. Also, the race is approx 1 month away so that could also be a vote against.
Just an idea...

from 8:00 to 7:30?
Since tech is at 9:30
2 hrs is a better time frame to prep a car.
Can we track test the cars on the track during this time?

Pictures will be posted when he is done. As I already stated, each team will get the frame with the ball bearings and the front tires installed. ALL OF THE FRAMES ARE EXACTLY ALIKE.
You cannot modify the frame in any way.
They are torsion Warmack types.

If you knock the pan off in the race is that considered modifying the chassis?
That would be considered..... "lengthy pit stop" LOL

Can't tell if your being seriousI am building each chassis with a different cold solder joint. Each should have a failure around the 4 hour mark from vibration, sort of like the tails of the airliners in the Jimmy Stewart movie, "No Highway in the Sky". This will throw chassis repairs into the mix. lol...
