Nah, John, the best thing is the Iskendarian decals on a Vanwall GP body!
Don
I kind of liked the Moon Equipped decals.

I have this one too, Don. What do you think about using a set of silicone tires and one of those A.J.s friction drive pinions? I have a few left. I think I sent you a couple. I never tried using one but this seems like a perfect candidate. It has the Russkit 23 so it should wail! I saw PdL mention this above but he didn't mention "with silicone tires" which is how A.J.s friction pinion is supposed to be used. I bet this is the first sidewinder formula car ever built!
Hi Gary!
I do believe you did! I've been hoarding the "demon drives" preciously, but still haven't used them on a project.
I guess they are made for silicone tires, which is what most of the various friction drive cars I've picked up use, and it would make sense since the demons are silicone as well. That would probably work better on your Vanwall, unless the spongies are still soft...
However, my 1/32 King F/D car works very well with Ortmann urethane tires and the original o-rings on the motor. And the Vanwell also worked very well with the knurled sleeve on the motor and the sponge tires, but the tires have now dried out.

My Grand Prix King F/D Cheetah, found like this, except for the rear tires - I put some REH, I think, silicone coated spongies on there, but they're really too wide and rub on the body... the originals were much narrower! Looks odd, especially for such a wide car, where you can't really take advantage of it!
