Now if it was sealed in the original box, then you'd really have something that is almost impossible to find.

Cox never made a "2C". Cox made a Chaparral 2, referred years later as a "2A" to differentiate the 1964 version with flat sides and narrower, Lotus-like wheels. The Cox model is patterned after the 1965 Sebring Twelve-Hour cars, with Coke-bottle shaped bodies and the wider GM-pattern, patented, cast two-piece "wire" wheels that were later outrageously copied by the German BBS company and for which they took full design credit.
The large, 36D-size NASCAR motor was the only motor used in the Cox Chaparral 2E model using the magnesium frame. While there used to be reproductions of the molded plastic part that is fitted on top of the motor, I do not believe that any are currently available from anyone, and that also goes for the wire. While the wire is easy to reproduce, the molded plastic bit is a lot more difficult.
Lead wires on all Cox NASCAR motors are vinyl coated blue and red wires of 1mm diameter.
