It's a pity we have one of the finest flat tracks in the country there at SpeedZone, and we only race on it once, as an afterthought on Friday afternoon.

Retro East™ is stuck in banked track hell!

Is everyone eligible for the Coupe FK race?

No, the following guys are not eligible for the GTC-FK race and must run the GTC-PD race per the IRRA™ announcement. Others that are eligible for the GTC-FK may choose to run in the GTC-PD race but cannot run then in the GTC-FK race.

20GTC-PD.jpg

The track choices for the event are not a Retro East™ choice. I posted this for SpeedZone who is running the event.

Thanks, Noose, right after I posted that I found the list. Oh well, no FK racing for me anymore at the big races, and it used to be such fun!

My flat track comments were not only for the Fall brawl. I did notice some time ago the complete lack of any flat tracks on the Retro East™ Schedule. I know all the arguments about entries, etc., but to not even include one or two on such a long schedule seems surprising. We should be racing on all and any tracks the raceways have while they are there.

The Stock Car and the JK Cup Spec classes non-PD classes.

As for the schedule, SpeedZone is the only one with a flat track. All the other places closed. I also take into account as you say what gets the most entries for the raceway.

Entries for the flat track races were way down compared to the other tracks.

I may be typical of racers who are apethetic towards flat tracks. Since I would probably only get any time on one of them when I race at Speedzone (since it's the only one within even a couple of hours), I may never do very well on them. I just don't have enough experience racing on them for it to be very enjoyable. I race for the fun of it, and if it's not fun, I probably won't bother to attend. I have many other interests that take up time and money so I have to make the most of the little extra I have of both.

I deleted a previous post made that had nothing go do with this race announcement I did on behalf of SpeedZone. If you feel it necessary to invite racers to another race, then do so in your own thread.

Love the colors and how "SpeedZone winner" and the #3 contrasts with the silver.

It looks like a sci-fi rocketship.

Mike Iles asked me to communicate this:

On Thursday, November 10th, a $10 Pit Pass Fee will allow you to practice from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (anticipated closing) on both the Engleman and Jersey Devil Flat Track.
