I recently came into the possesion of a Champion Magnum chassis also .
Since I'm running Parma Internationals 1/32 on a Carrera track, should I bother restoring the Champion Magnum ?
I guess it only comes alive when ran on a wooden track or a big track ?
What brand are these orange tires ? Looking to replace the dried ones that came with the Champion Magnum chassis.

1) I have to report that I did not see a single 'brasscar" at the recent Indiana Swap Meet last weekend. There were many more recent and older 1/24 cars and parts.
2) Orange and any other colored tire other than modern "Fish" black are only usable for shelf queen uses.
3) If the brass is dark, it can become brite again with a baking soda soak and a buffing. Lube the hinged parts if they are rusted solid. Good tires and most any body will make it a fun driving car, but will likely not be legal in most racing series on a commercial track.
4) One brand of orange tire is Alpha, but they may have phased them out of production many years ago. I have seen some on a back shelf at MidAmerica Raceway in Buffalo Grove.....might be able to buy some there.
