Jairus indicated he didn't actually paint the car with the flip-flop paint. Who did please?
Sorry, just noticed this question
I painted the body, since I had some of the ChomaLusion left over from a 1:1 project I did.
When I sold automotive and industrial paint for eight+ years, I'd get roped into doing stuff for friends, family... unfortunately some of those people still bug me for stuff.
I see the Can-Am has been bid up for more than I ever thought it would reach. If the winner plans to race the car and doesn't want to destroy the body, I'll be happy to paint them a race body. Keep in mind it won't have hand lettering or numbers. They should contact me by PM after the auction end if they want to take me up on my free offer.
Here's my usual race colors for reference

That is a very kind and generous offer on top of an already-generous level of donations to kick this fundraiser off.
I salute you, my friend!

On behalf of the entire Haslinger Family Pediatric Palliative Care team, thank you so much for your wonderful enthusiam in supporting this auction in the memory of our friend, Frank Elavsky. Frank is surely enjoying this entire even from his heavenly position!
Your generosity is so appreciated and will benefit the many children and young adults with life-threatening, complex conditions that we are privileged to serve.

Just sent a group PM to all the winning bidders with instructions on how to remit payment and a request for their shipping addresses...
One way or another, we'll get that neat HO car to Bill. FWIW, it's the only item I placed a bid on...

We're going live with our new software package at CW tomorrow (after 30+ years with the old one) and I had to work most of the day.
Some days it's tough to juggle everything... LOL!

Thanks for the Thank You. Although not necessary, it was appreciated. It now has a special place hanging above my workbench.
