In case anyone has forgotten, this auction ends tonight at midnight Eastern time.

Thank you, guys, so much. Not sure I meant ya'll but this auction is awesome. I know Frank would have been biding on some of these items himself if he were still with us.

Frank and Momma were always giving back so I know this would just tickle Frank. This is a great cause you can be proud of.

So thank you guys again...

Vintage parts. The pic is not the greatest so I will give some more info.

MM=Mila Miglia
MM German Formula 1" slicks, soft, med, and hard.
MM 1-1/4" hard.
MM 500F three-hole rims 2 pair.
MM 100-2 solid wheels 2 pair.
MM 700F ten-hole rims 2 pair.
MM 513 soft slicks on three-hole rims.
MM 113 soft slicks on solid rims.
MM 313 soft slicks on five-hole rims.

Revell Lotus/BRM inserts with mirrors.

Dynamic 620 Knock off wrench.
Dynamic 582 1/32 independent front end.
Dynamic 665 Dyna grip wheel and tire set.

Pactra/Competition 330 motor mounts and 320 front axle housing.

Strombecker two and three-eared knock offs - four of each.

Jairus indicated he didn't actually paint the car with the flip-flop paint. Who did please?

Sorry, just noticed this question

I painted the body, since I had some of the ChomaLusion left over from a 1:1 project I did.

When I sold automotive and industrial paint for eight+ years, I'd get roped into doing stuff for friends, family... unfortunately some of those people still bug me for stuff. :laugh2:

I see the Can-Am has been bid up for more than I ever thought it would reach. If the winner plans to race the car and doesn't want to destroy the body, I'll be happy to paint them a race body. Keep in mind it won't have hand lettering or numbers. They should contact me by PM after the auction end if they want to take me up on my free offer.

Here's my usual race colors for reference

Rob,

That is a very kind and generous offer on top of an already-generous level of donations to kick this fundraiser off.

I salute you, my friend!

A message from the Palliative Care Team:

On behalf of the entire Haslinger Family Pediatric Palliative Care team, thank you so much for your wonderful enthusiam in supporting this auction in the memory of our friend, Frank Elavsky. Frank is surely enjoying this entire even from his heavenly position!

Barn,

Just sent a group PM to all the winning bidders with instructions on how to remit payment and a request for their shipping addresses...

One way or another, we'll get that neat HO car to Bill. FWIW, it's the only item I placed a bid on...

I was glad to see Bob Suzuki was the high bidder. I have sold him many items in the past and he is a great guy. As soon as I receive the go ahead with shipping info I will send the stuff out.

Should happen later tonight, Joe.

We're going live with our new software package at CW tomorrow (after 30+ years with the old one) and I had to work most of the day.

Some days it's tough to juggle everything... LOL!

I posted a registered letter containing a check for $1,420.00 to our contact at Akron's Children Hospital today.

So, truly, the check is in the mail! (I love saying that...LOL!).

And now we'll be getting started on the Mr. Frank Auction II.

I just received a wonderful Thank You card from "Momma" and others for my donation to the Mr. Frank auction. Although I've never actually met any of these people, it was my pleasure to donate.

Thanks for the Thank You. Although not necessary, it was appreciated. It now has a special place hanging above my workbench.
