We will be hosting a retro race on saturday June 23rd. Doors open at 8 a.m. Classes to include: Retro F-1 [falcon motors], Gt Coupe [falcon motors], and Can-am [puppy dog motors allowed].Track is an Ogilvie 115 foot Grandstand,approximately .018 braid recess, 13.4 volt power. The Ogilvie tri-oval is ready for retro Stock Cars if interest is there [get ready for Mid-America "Ring of Champions stock car race in July]. You may contact me at 224-805-1138 with any questions.

John, I am planning on making the the 23rd. I have never run a Falcon on your track, what is your recommended gearing?

8-28 or 8-27 works well! I prefer the 28 t. for better brakes and punch out of the turns.

Ezra and I will be there. Repaired all the damage from Thazer except for the Z Railer. Have to send to Manta Ray for that one ! Graham, we have been using 8-28 @ the Field House and it works the best. Looking forward to the 23rd.

Sounds great John. There is a group of us coming from "South Bend", although I don't know how many, probably the usual suspects.

Due to requests, we will allow puppy dogs in the f-1 race. Many find [including Howie and Sano Dave] falcons to be the motor of choice.You do not need a lot of brakes on my track.
