I am planning on being there and I know Don B. and the "Retro Slots" crowd are looking forward to having the Retro South series come to Abbeville. For those of you who have never made it to 'Slots of Fun' before you'll find it is a unique raceway unlike most you have been to. Reminds you of how it was back in the day and Don has a boatload of Retro stuff for you to wear out your plastic on! And I'm bringing the wife's "world famous" sausage rolls for morning snacks......

I'm told that Jay Guard is planning to attend as well, so there's another reason I gotta be there: to prop him up if he starts to fall over... LOL!

Noose, there's usually some kind racer who takes pity on me. Tommy Flythe always has a stable of cars just like you carry, so he's normally good for a rent-a-racer or two...

Sounds like this could be as big or bigger than Retro South #1!
Yep, Ralph, and what had I been telling you, Barnes, and Merriman for over a year or so??? LOL.

Greg,
I have several RTR Can-Ams and F1s in stock I'll sell you!
I'm really happy Jay may make the race.

Of all the lodging choices listed on Post #2, the following is the best value:
The Abbevilla Motel
801 E Greenwood St, Abbeville, SC 29620
(864) 366-5041
They are giving us reduced rates as follows:
One bed (queen size I believe) = $50
One bed (king size) = $54
Two beds (full sizes I believe) = $56
They have recently remodeled and I've heard good things from other racers who have stayed there.
You can see the rooms on their Facebook page.

Please ensure that Terry sees Don Berni's note above regarding the Abbeville hotel. I was unaware of that option when Terry contacted me last week. I had told him that aside from Don's B&B, I thought you'd probably need to stay in Greenwood - about 10 minutes away from the track.
Looking forward to seeing you guys in SC next week. I know you'll love Slots of Fun. Great raceway in a town filled with Southern charm and history. Ask Don about the town... I'm sure he makes a heckuva docent.
