Thanks a lot for your encouraging words.
My decision to run PD and TSRD3 with the required minimum weight difference (100 grams & no limit) has been suggested by one of my good friends at BPR at SWC.
It is very good for our Tokyo racers to try both of D3/SCRRA and IRRA cars in the actual racing condition at our monthly race.
Now Kamo-san is developing a kind of center-pans to make 90 gram cars to 100 gram IRRA cars in a very easy way like snap-on, making it possible for us to run the same chassis both with PD and TSRD3.
Next year, I hope our Tokyo racers, other than myself, are going to race both in SoCal and IRRA areas.
Good Retro Racing,
Haruki

... I have decided to run our racing program basically as a member of the IRRA racing groups but with our local options.
I sense a future road trip... er, uhm... plane trip!

Very interesting to see how lightweight cars with TSRD3 compete with 100 gram minimum IRRA cars with PD motors.

The name of our Retro racing program will be changed to "Retro Tokyo" at the beginning of 2013.
This is where we are now.
Good call, good rules, good racing!

From our Race #10 in October, PD motors are allowed with the IRRA Can-Am and F1.

This sounds really good... at least it puts something new and refreshing into Retro for Tokyo racers.

Now more than 80 PD's are on the way to Tokyo.
As our local option, PD's without 4 screws under the seal are allowed to use until the end of this year.
Of course, I will bring PD's with the screws to Fall Brawl.
Our Race#9 on September 9 is the last race at which only TSRD3/Falcon7's are allowed in Can-Am & F-1.
I will test a Kamo-Spider(chassis #2), which I have just received this morning.
From the Race#10 in October, PD's are allowed with minimum weight of 100g both for Can-Am & F-1.
Kamo-san has invented a detachable weight for Kamo-Spider, which makes a complete car weigh more than 100g.
The weight came with the Spider #2.
The two short piano wires go into the tubes on the nose-piece, then the bite bar go through the tube on the other side of the weight to fix it.
Similar weighs for Kamo-Speed chassis will be produced soon for the races from October.
Stay tuned,
Haruki
