The BatCar is ready for the track.
You might have noticed a slight difference between the body that Gene cast... and the body as it sits above… the difference is an airbrake!
The workings for the air brake work like this…
As the motor is powered for acceleration, the drive gear climbs the spur gear thus raising the motor mounts and dropping the air-brake into a nested position.
When the power is removed, inertia takes over and while the car moves forward the motor becomes the brake… then the motor carriage drops, thus flipping up the air-brake! Cool, huh?
And the bare chassis… For you chassis freaks…

Excellent work, Jairus!!!
I like everything... but the red-orange highlights on the sides are an extra nice touch.
I've heard that Edo is boarding a plane for the West coast to try and snatch that one.

Remember, two wrongs don't make a right... but three lefts do! Only you're a block over and a block behind.

Sorry Gene, no #43 on the sides. This car is not for racing but solving crimes and for keeping peace trackside. (Damn, a flashing light would have been really cool...)
At any rate, I have been staring at the front of this car for a couple of days and realized what is missing... EYES!!! So...
PS: OK, they are just vinyl cut-outs stuck on but I like them... think I need to play with them for a bit but I believe this was the shape for the eye holes on Adam West's (now THAT's funny) mask!
Next... "The Joker"!
