I noticed that the cars on the track appear to be flattened cardboard pictures, not actual 3D cars.
What does that say about ME? Yeow!
(I, for one, am glad she is there to help) keep it in the slot (one can't have too many turn marshals),

I would say you haven't really looked at the track, must have a depth perspetion issue............ Those " Flattened Cardboard Picures" are section markers.
