On Saturday Novemeber 24, The Mason Dixon guys converged on Sheaves Slots & Drags in Weyers Cave, Va. Practice started at 8 am with racing at 11 am. Twelve drivers signed in for the GTC PD event. Virginian Nick Brantley took the GTC PD pole with a speedy 5.457.

Top 6 went to the A main, 7 to 12 to the B, with 2 advancing.
The B main was all Dale Granger as he went on to win the B main. The real battle was for 2nd. Newcomer Tim Mahanes finished 2nd followed by Jake, Roman, Steve D, and Steve L. Dale and Tim moved to the A main.

The A main was up next for the GTC PD cars, Could anyone stop the Brantleys in Virginia ? Apparently not !
Nick Brantley was flying and drove to victory with Brother Robert 2nd. Bill Gerhart was third followed by Randy Kohr, Tommy Campbell, Dale Granger, Tim Mahanes and Gary Culy.

Nick Brantley took the Can Am pole with a super quick 5.309 and a New Track Record.

Gary Cully beat Tim Mahanes in the B main after a long battle . Jake Coffey, Roman K, Steve D, and Steve L followed.

Gary Culy and Tim Mahanes moved to the Can Am A main.
The Brantleys got out front early swapping the lead numerous times before Robert took over and marched to victory. Nick Brantley finished second with Tommy Campbell making it an all "Virginia" podium with a fine third place finish. Bill Gerhart, Randy Kohr, Gary Culy, Tim Mahanes, and Dale Granger followed.
