Jaak, if you are converting the 3.125 dimension, then it should be 79.375mm.According to my calculations (Google Inch - MM converter) it should be 76.2 Milimeters
(Multiply inches by 24.5 = mm)
76.2mm = 3"

Thanks Steve
But when I re-Googled just now it tells me 1 inch is 25,4 MM which mean it is 79,375
EDIT: rechecked it and now am sure it is 25,4 as all the sites give that number.
3,125 x 25,4 = 79,375

This is the first time I am trying this tube trough bracket thing.
Carefully measured the width so that when I put the 2 brass spacer rings between the rear wheel and the bearings it is a few tenths of a millimeter under maximum allowed width.
I lost one of the two bodies to the dog...left it on the sofa after I measured the width of it.
And since we have our lovely Golden retriever (11 months old now) anything within his reach is fair game to be chewed passed recognition.

I'm glad I sent the extra. LOL

That makes two of us Mike.
My little one had managed to disappear with one of the motor screws and it cost me 1 hour to find it.
I now have all pieces locked up in my hobby room and it will remain there until I pack it for postage

Metallic blue is definitely an Indy car color! And offset by red Halibrands... nice!

So Jens,
Are you going to try to make it now ?
PS-I love the red wheels.

Jens,
He looks serious.
For guys still having to send cars, my home address works a bit better than the shop one for postal packages.
