That is great news Mike.

Only gripe I have on my car is that the decals where thick and did not take any shapes well.

Read online that I need a decal solution to pull that off.

Planning on bugging you later on for another body and doing that with the decal solution ,

Mike showed me some of the completed cars for this proxy race series idea and I was smiling .. as in ear-to-ear! .. without even seeing them on his flat track racing! Man; they are fantastic!

Being a newbie I did not know what proxy racing was not to mention the pros and cons of this type of series. But; reading this thread I have a decent idea now.

With that said; these cars and incredible, and I think anything that gets them visibility (e.g. proxy racing)is really important.

In fact; after I saw the cars Mike showed me I looked for some vintage Indy film footage and found an amazing one. Check out the start-ups and racing from a retro-weekend at Michigan Intl. Speedway. The engine sounds alone are priceless.

How many cars will run?

Would be cool to see qualifying... maybe one selected driver Qs' all the cars .... part of the show, Indy style.

The race is not tonight.

I was having computer issues, that finally got resolved on Sunday night,so I didn't recruit for tonight.

Now that everything is resolved, I'll start recruiting again for next Tuesday.

With today's holiday, too many guys were no-go for tomorrow, so I'm going to shoot for next Tuesday.

Sorry for the delay.

With running on 2 tracks, I really need most of my top drivers.

Before next Tuesday, I'm getting in 8 of the new electronic controllers that are coming out with the programmable auto-blip feature.

The controllers have GPS and detects from the special lane stickers when the car is approaching the bank.

Do they offer a model that works in every other corner?  Like...the flat ones....it's not so much the bank that gives me trouble... :sarcastic_hand:

Scorpius has had wireless digital and analogue controllers for more that 12 months...

Its pretty clever, but I don't think it knows when to blip the bank.
