Hey Dale,
I can't get off from work this Saturday Feb 16. I will try to hook up again with you on March 16 at SpeedZone. I had a great time last Oct 13. I will be using a new inline Retro Pro car and maybe it won't burn up!

Dale,
I have a 6 tooth angle pinion and running it to a 29 crown and it runs cooler in the inline. At the Speedzone warmup race with anglewinder I ran 8 to 39 but it just got hotter and hotter til it cooked (smelled epoxy bad). Chubby and Kenny ran similar chassis with 8 to 44/45 but still real hot after 5 heats. Tried the inline motor geared 8 to 44 in the sidewinder chassis and it gets real hot in 5 heats. I know angle/sidewinder drives are more efficient but it develops alot of heat in the original sidewinder I made. I may open up the rear of the body to test if its air flow past the motor that is the nasty. Thanks for the response, George

Dale, Good luck Saturday! You have to finish to win it. Sometimes I need to slow down to go faster. George
