That IS a cool effect.... like a "machine turned" look!

Mixed a light blue metallic from Vallejo Model Air Aluminium and Faskolor blue metallic and spayed it on. Vombined with the decals it still looks
like I wanted it - so I am happy :-)

Looks like the pits at Zandvoort in '67 was a busy place!
Excellent work, Niels; great looking F1's!

Niels, what is the wheel / tire combination that you are using (not the inserts)? You seem to use the same combo for all your cars.

Mike, our rules for both WP CanAm and retro F1 says min. tyre dia 22mm front and rear and min 8mm width front and max. 16mm width rear
And yes I mostly use same size on both type cars. wheel diameter 23,5mm front and rear and 8-10mm front width and 15-16mm rear width.
Wheels are 15mm inside dia and 16mm outside dia.
Wheel inserts are my own resin.

4 Retro F1 cars for some guys in Sweden. It seems that Sweden has also caught the Retro F1Fever (Danish Style) :-)
Testing the retro way:

Niels, what chassis are beneath the Swedish F1s? Is it your Mk. 1 chassis?

Honda + Eagle = Mk.I chassis; McLaren + Cooper-Maserati = ISO-chassis

Very impressive as usual Niels! It's always a pleasure to view your work.
By the way, that is a KOOL dyno. May I ask where you acquired that please?
Thank you.

Hi Ernie,
I bought it on ebay some years ago. Since then I have built in the rev counter from a Trinity Monster Machine, so I can meassure the revs on the rear axe when testing :-)

Very nice body, Niels; and the 4 year old chassis still looks pretty sweet too!

Oh MAN Niels! C100! So cool. I'm sure your model will work better than the original did.
Perhaps one day you'll wrap one up in Jaegermeister livery...?
She's a beauty! As always, thanks for sharing your projects.
