Thanks for the well wishes, Bill... but... no... about an hour of prep with athletic tape and braces for both.
Going to race Sat. at "Vintage Days" then right knee replacement on the 25th, left following rehab. My knees won't last a whole moto, just do the best that I can until they do their thing...

Cool pics, Brian!
You restored that bike and raced it at Unadilla. That track is super rough on a modern day bike, let alone a bike with 1975 technology and suspension!
Big kudos, my friend!

Thanks, Phil.
Number one on my "Bucket List" has been fulfilled!
Unadilla was the roughest track that I've ever rode... also, one of the safest! I never imagined, until I did it, clicking fifth gear and launching out of "Gravity Cavity". The "Cavity" throws you up and out... with the grade of the landing, it's not as hard as hit as you would think.
I lost over 40 lbs. to do this, and it was well worth it. I won't ever forget the experience of "Unadilla"!

I will,
It's crazy the way they've scheduled. I'll try to get more info....
This is really stupid scheduling if you ask me... Red Bud first motos of both classes on Fuel at 1 PM EST, second moto of the 450 class on WKYC channel 3 here at 3 PM EXT, then the second moto of the 250s on NBC sports at 4 PM EST.

Hi Brian,
Brillant restoration that also rides well!!
I'm looking for a sprocket cover like the one as shown on your bike before restoration (black with round holes). You don't you have one for sale, do you?
All the best from France,
Olivier

since I have been on a break from slot cars as of November I managed to save up some money and purchase this nice 1978 Honda CR 250r Elsinore for myself. a friend of mine was the original owner and it was time for him to part with it I plan on possibly racing it in vintage motocross 50 and over class.
Joseph Migliaccio. Karma it's a wonderful thing.
