Recently picked up a sealed Monogram Chaparral plastic kit and was wondering what chassis would be right for it?

 

 

 

Did they do this as a RTR?  Was there a particular chassis from Monogram that this body fitted (any pictures etc of this as I can't find any)  motor, wheels etc?

 

Was almost thinking of a nice scratch built chassis with a padlock motor in it , nice big motor to fit the big shell.

Of course Monogram made a kit out of that body, but not a RTR. For your 5 bucks, you had to put it together! 

 

I don't have a pic of the chassis but here is the one from the McLaren-Elva, it's the same except that the 2D chassis did not have the side mounts, instead it was bolted from special front and back mounts. Electric Dreams has the back mount and some chassis I believe.

Ah cool , thanks Dokk Looks similar to a Classic chassis I've got floating around somewhere. Will check out the chassis mounts etc
