FYI:  The USSCA series uses the wide car as one option in its Indy car class along with the narrow chassis.  The rear wheel 'fenders' are now allowed to be cut off since the 1/1 cars race that way now as well.  Out of the box spec rules otherwise.

For current Indy car windshield and 'Halo' roll bar, well maybe a new mold is needed.
