I have this chassis at home and I don't know which brand could it be. It could be something from Japan but I'm not sure. Any idea?? Thanks. Toni.

Antoni, that is a standard Revell 1/24 inline chassis used under their BRM and Lotus models. It came in two slightly different versions. The motor, a 13UO is incorrect for this chassis. Most came with the standard early version 16D end bell drive in Gray. I have the motors if you need them. Guide is not original but all other parts except motor appear to be. I really like these chassis as they can be extended long enough to fit a lot of 1/24 or 1/25 scale model kits.

The Dynamic guide is also not the correct one for this chassis.

Ouuuchhh!! I began searching in the hardest way: the japanese. I have several 16D motors but as I want these kind of chassis just for scratch & build I will leave this one. No matters if it is not 100% original. Thank you a lot for your help.

Well, you were on the right track since these chassis were made in Japan for Revell!  :D

Those were good chassis in their day. We had a class probably in 1965 that required a factory frame with matching motor and un-cut hard body. The Revell chassis was a good unit with a 36D motor.

Don, that was a different and larger chassis... :)

Hey Dokk,

Yea, now that you mention it.  Somewhat similar but I think maybe the main rails were L-shaped.

I went to battle those cars with my first car, a Cox GT-40. Boy I got carried to the wood shed! :)  Switched most of the parts to a Dynamic frame with a Sportsman body. Then I got thrown to the wolves in the open competition class! A young fellow of 12 wouldn't be able to stand the pressure today! :heat:  Thank heavens for good mentors.

Don't think it's Revell. The Revell narrow GP chassis had the motor mount bolted to the bottom of the rear part through two punched holes just like the bigger/wider 1/24 chassis.

Also, had plain punched holes for the front axle. That one appears to have bushes in the front (which, certainly could have been retro fitted).

BWA :)

Joe I could use one or two of those motors.

Al,

This IS a Revell R3010 chassis... there was more than one iteration of both their narrow and wide chassis...  :)

The motor is the Eldon version of the Mabuchi FT13UO
