Slot racer Steve McBride needs our prayers. Steve has been in the hospital for over a week with heart problems. I spoke with him this morning early and he thought he might get to go home in a few days.

This afternoon Bill Bowers tried to call him and his wife answered the phone saying that Steve was not doing good and could not talk. Please remember Steve in your prayers for his recovery.

I will see him Friday and post whatever information is available.

Visited with Steve this morning. He seems to be doing better. Still gets short of breath easily.

The plan is for another arteriorgram today or tomorrow. Still some concern about his kidneys. The medication has gotten rid of most of the excess fluid on his lungs. He was breathing without oxygen this morning.

Everyone keep praying for him.

Steve was released and is back home. Still weak but doing much better. The arteriorgram was delayed until next week to see how much damage was done to his heart.

I traveled to many races with Steve. He was a hard-working competitor, always full of life.

Steve would bring flowers to my 90-year-old mother; she called him her other son. He will be missed by so many people.

RIP, Steve...

Really sad news. Steve was one of my all-time favorite people in the slot racing world. Just a great all-around guy. I'll miss him, in fact I already do.

Rest in Peace, Steve.
