Matty Haines visited the track and distributed plaques for this race, as well as awards for the 2012/13. And what a surprise!!!!
The beautiful plaques were MUCH more than the budget would have supported! Many thanks to Matt for his contributions to the awards.
Other than that, the meeting was short and sweet. Heres what we discussed:
1. Track selection for the next race at Asheville:
ALL CLASSES will be run on the Reverse Cobra King Road Course.
2. Asheville Raceway has announced they will hold a "Money Race", the night before the Mid-south event.
Rules will be Mid-South DLM with Hawk7 only. More details to come
Next on the schedule, the Mid-South heads west, into the mountains to take on the challenging Reverse Cobra King at Lil Asheville Slot Car Raceway in
the Biltmore Square Mall, Asheville, NC, Oct 12.
