It will be there before that.
Mailing out next week... hell or high water.
Just want it to be PRETTY, so trying to fix a tiny little misunderstanding between me and the bank that happened during testing last April.
No worries, It'll be there.

The cars will be run one at a time by the same driver, in the same lane and timed like they did for qualifying at the R&C races. All I know about the voltage is that it's a battery powered track????
Above race procedure in the magazine article states:
2 practice laps and 3 timed laps.
Is that the on track plan?

Since each car will be new to him, he will need to drive it for enough laps to become comfortable. I know the timing system keeps track of the best lap time.
I will double check with Rodney who will be driving the cars as to the procedure he has in mind.
Our goal is for each car to perform its best without damaging them as would likely happen if we held a "race" with drivers inexperience with vintage cars.

What is the braid depth on Eddie's flat track?

I'll ask Rodney but I don't know if he has a depth mic to check it accurately. I've been setting cars up on a tech block so the front wheels are maybe .010" or so off the block. Right or wrong, I've wanted the front wheels to touch on the track.

Thanks Rick,
I'm not running a drop arm chassis and don't want to set the flag too shallow.

How about we check it for you at the track? We want everyone's cars to do their best.
Put a posty note to remind us saying, "please check guide depth" and we can stuff some Slick 7 spacers in there if it needs it.

Yup,
I'll PM the Express Mail tracking info to you..
I'm happy with everything but the rear wheels/tires, I think one wheel is drilled off center but trued it up on the car.
I put an extra pair of the same wheel/tire combo in the box. they might be better..... If the doesn't bounce it should be a nice runner.
Didn't get a chance to shoot any final bottom pictures before shipping.
Hope you enjoy the car...
