So glad now that I didn't make a crude comment about "tooting" (my own horn) when I was tempted.

Here are some examples of the flexibility of the Rego jig I use:

Hi Preston,

I REALLY love my "Rick's Jig" (R-Geo) wub.gif . It's worked perfectly for angle winder, full sidewinder or inline.......even dual motors and 4WD:

Thanks to all for their time and input, very much appreciated!

Don't forget to post some pics...and save the first build no matter how rough it is.  I wish I kept mine! :)

Hey fellows I guess the jigs up!....Just a little humor!? Well you folks sound like your racing at the jig nats, you all should be proud of yourselves and each other....this is a hard bizz to exist in, I've owned most of your jigs one time or the other, and really never had a real bitch about any of them....I have a percision tuning fork now....Dave you did real good here! I have been building hard bodies lately, and that's with .095x up to 2 inches wide.....you have to get this amount of brass very hot to make to solder flow, you folks know what I mean don't ya?..Well with the extra thick block its seen about 30 chassis so far and no scorching and no distortion...I got the full boat jig with the overhead hold down....I think the overhead is a little large but in fact works very well....there is enough pins and pin holes, never exactly where you would like them but very doable....and all these chassis are for model bodies so they don't have the slotcar diminsions, so I can't expect anything more than Dave delivered. At around $200 I got the full meal deal....Great job and a great tool to use, building a Corvette Grand Sport hardbody now for a friend, again love the jig and have sold about 3 of them to other friends for Dave....my pleasure to have this one Dave....regards Paul
