Guy, the Delta Creamcoat paint is another hobby acrylic paint like this. Let it dry for 2 or 3 days & it sticks to lexan like a gorilla. The late Frank Valentine talked me into trying this.

Rustoleum has a line of laquer paint at Wally World. I have tried it in white and orange and it works well. wrinkled them all up and no cracking of the bodies or chipping the paint..

On the Createx paints, I finish up with a coat of the clear glosscoat.  It seems to prevent a lot of the scratching, but not all.  That's OK, the paint lasts about as long as the bodies do anyway, and I can spray in my basement without sending myself to la-la land

Last night I tried the DuraTrax paints. I specifically used the florescent orange and yellow to see how they sprayed and stuck.  All other version of these colors used to come out ok but turn to a "dust" on the body and did not stick really well.  I backed them with a light coat of their white.  I did not have any of their purple so I used the Pactra RC Grape Pearl for that then used their silver.

The bottles are only 1./2 ounce vs. 2/3rds for the Pactra so for me that leads to a greater expense.  I thinned all of the colors the same way I do the Pactra paints and that is 50/50 with acetone.

I found the smoothness of fogging was really good with the DuraTrax paint vs. the Pactra.  Reminds me of when I used to use Floquil many, many years ago.

The paint dried well and fast and I had no issues removing any of the masks.

What I did notice right away was that there was far less odor from these as compared to the Pactra paints.

Testers has a one coat enamel that sticks well and does not crack. Tried thus on 2 bodies so far with no issues.

A motor is only as fast as the chassis it's in.

I'm glad to hear that the Testors "One-Shot" line works well on Lexan as I've been really happy with the results of using it on styrene. Lately, because of the Pactra drought, I've been using the Tamiya polycarbonate rattle cans and I must admit they're REALLY pleasant to work with.

Most recently I did a blue metallic to graphite metallic fade on a JK Toyota GT1 that I was really pleased with.
