Worked on the car last night and tested tonight.  I'm quite happy.  Gonna bring the PAIN Tuesday!

 

Bob you are building a car for Nick?  Can't wait to race with him!  Jerry built a beater car with a 4002...not sure if it's the FK or the regular chinese arm but it is poly neo mags.  It's fast!

Ah sorry to hear, raced a time or two with him at Dom's, good guy to race with.

I got the fastest race lap time at 3.947.

 

Can't wait for next week!  Ordered some bodies, I'd like to try an Alpha Valkyrie, anyone have any experience with that one?

The front of the wings should extend all the way to the end of the body. It makes for a much stronger tape job in the front. Go over to http://slotblog.net/...ding-tutorials/ for two good tutorials on winging bodies. The front end looks a little weak otherwise looks pretty good.

I had a stomach virus this Tuesday so I skipped racing but here is our podium for 25March2014:

 

 

Left to right:  2nd - Kurt Mansfield; 1st - Alan "thefinger" Cohen; 3rd - Steve Taxis

 

Alan did extremely well with a 339 lap total, highest so far.

 

I hope to be back next week ready to rumble!
