New track build for a family personal entertainment center in Pasadena, CA. 24' x 13.5, four-lane on 4.5" centers. Pic shows sidewalls rough cut in. Another day's wood work and paint ready.
I have been building quite a few home tracks but not posting here cuz I didn't feel like taking time to resize pics... I post all my work on Facebook at Slot Car Racing.

Very cool track, Bob. Do you scale everything down the same amount or do you have to make some dims to fit?

I sketch on graph paper (yes, Craig, still ) and then cut pieces accordingly. It's kind of a rough sketch in some ways and track does not always come out exactly as drawing but it is a freakin' race course, eh?!

Beautiful work Bob! Can this track be built with the deadman not over the main straight? Is that a lot of work to change? How much would standard braid save over that $5k. When are you going to move to the East Coast?

Thx Here's answers to your questions:
Yes it can be built without deadman over straight.
Yes that would be a lot of work to change. (After some thought, on an original build it would be an easier build by not laying over straight. I was thinking you were asking what it would take to change this particular build)
Copper braid would be several hundred less.
Never
