Pieces in a container can ship most anywhere that a forklift can unload it.

Yeah Larry...but at what cost? For most of us that is the deciding factor...cost of shipping. Plus everyone does not have a forklift available.

I dont mind cluttering this thread with talk about shipping...
I've tried to find the least expensive way to ship. Several problems arise.
1. Classification of the product to ship is a huge multiplier...
2. "Port to port" ~ meaning I pack up goods and deliver to the freight companies dock for shipment to dock near buyer/receiver. This means buyer must have a way to get goods to their location and most always is much less $.
3. Cross fingers load ships undamaged.

We have shipped tracks all over the world .The problem with container shipping is that it has to go on a ship (as in big steel floaty slow thing whatever ) .So when I sold a track in California , I had 2 options : put it in my own truck and drive it there or crate it up and send it by common carrier .Since I had my own truck , I drove to LA and CA destinations about 19 times ? Dont know I lost track .And I lost a lot of time and money driving instead of building tracks .But if I was shipping to the UK , a truck showed up at my shop with a 20' container and 2 hours later a track was on its way via the port of Halifax by rail from Toronto .But when I had to get a track to Halifax could i put on a container and send it by rail ? No sir , drive it yourself. Never made sense then and it still does not now .But we still crate tracks up in Florida and send them any where they need to go .Nice track Bob .

Just found this thread. Is the customer still around? Do they know about Farrout? It looks almost like a mirror image of Eddie's track (you built that too, right?). Very nice! I'm jealous.

Why not just a blue king arrangement, going backwards gets me dizzy.
Precisely why I would want to race on it... disorients the competition!

Some of my best times racing hardbodies around Oregon.
I had a trip planned this summer to visit family in Central WA but may have to put it off a year. We will see.
