Thought you guys might be in interested in seeing some old Indianapolis Motor Speedway Souvenir cars - Note the different

designs and front ends - Also some of the tires say Indianapolis - The older cars have steel plates to hold the axles in place - newer ones have wood plugs glued in place

Neat looking old cars John! What would have been the timeframe that these available? Maybe during the 40's & early 50's? Some of them look like they could have been early Pinewood Derby cars.

THE OLDER ONES ARE 30'S & 40'S ABOUT 4"S LONG

THE LATE MODELS I AM NOT SURE ABOUT THEIR AGE THEY ARE ABOUT 4 3/4"S LONG

YES A LOT LIKE THE SLOT CARS SOME GUY FROM SOUTHERN OHIO BUILDS - OR SO I WAS TOLD BY A GUY I MET WHO'S INITIALS ARE R.H. :laugh2: :laugh2:
