Whenever we needed money, we'd rob the airport. To us, it was better than Citibank.

With all the "Families" in one location, you got to hope it doesn't end up like the Apalachin meeting in'57.

This is chatter so I think the Fed along with some helicopters will be showing up at the Polooza .

I like it better in the old days with a good old walk and talk. It's never been the same after Mr Gotti said I know they were tapping the phones on the first floor so we moved convation upstars to the second floor. It was the beginning of the end .

Henry hill used to call into the Howard Stern show all the time. We use to race at Nutley with a son of Mob guy. his dad would come into the raceway with his body guards. jersey john and anthony paterno used to hang out together. anthony would tell his dad was a doctor. He would come into the race way with a hundred dollar to spend when that was 1/2 a weeks salary for most people..

From the Orlando Sentinel :

Reputed mobster JOE PATERNO, 64, who pleaded guilty last...
March 19, 1988

MIAMI BEACH — Reputed mobster JOE PATERNO, 64, who pleaded guilty last September to charges he plotted to murder two people in 1985, died Wednesday of cancer. Paterno came to Miami Beach in 1974 to avoid testifying before the New Jersey crime commission, according to U.S. Senate documents. He is listed in a report from the New Jersey State Police to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee as a lieutenant in the Gambino family. The report says he was known as the late Carlo Gambino's personal emissary when he ran the mob's North Jersey operation. Paterno pleaded guilty in Dade Circuit Court to charges that he plotted to murder his cousin Rose Fernandez and her son, Stephen. Prosecutors charged that Paterno and his wife planned on keeping nearly $1 million loaned to them by Fernandez. The plot was never carried out. Under the terms of a plea agreement, Paterno, who appeared in court with two nasal tubes connecting him to an oxygen tank, was allowed to stay in his home and seek medical treatment. The agreement called for annual evaluations to determine if he was medically able to be sentenced to the 12 to 15 years in jail given such sentences.
