You are always welcome at Wanker Valley, Kev! I know one of the races is "Run what ya brung!" Brian should have extras for us hardbody novices.

MG....will you be racing when the track is up? I have loaners.
I have gotten a number of inquiries about the event and since nothing was posted in this topic, I felt it was worth asking the obvious question. Not everyone reads, or has the desire to read everything posted in every topic apparently.
Thanks for the offer Ray, let's see what the timing will be for the rescheduled(?) event.

Mick, I find it very strange that racers would contact you instead of Mike. You have not been involved in this series for quite a while. Mike had quite clearly posted that he would not be ready for the May 17th Race. What ever differences you and Mike have should be handled via pm. I have held back for a long time regarding your supposed knowledge of the "Scene" of Slotcar racing which you have not participated in. Nuff Said...............BTW I have had inquires about "why do you care" from area racers,

You'll have to ask the racers Ray. I don't claim to be a mind reader as to why they ask what they ask to who they ask.
I apologize if I missed a general announcement regarding this race- there wasn't anything posted in this topic from what I could see and that's why we have topics as I understand it; to allow people to find information quickly.

Since every racer in our series has either a phone or a computer, and both my phone # and e-mail address are clearly shown in all my posts, and IMO, you have the common sense to redirect them to me, I'm going to cry BS on your claim that IRRL racers queried you instead of me.
When factoring in your recent and regular snide remarks on FB, about me,referencing ultra-trivial details about me that don't impact your life one iota, like my one fingered typing,I'd say it's more likely the genesis of your inquiry is the job description for your position as Lapdog #6 at Ron Hershman Inc.
Feel free to have the IRRL racers you allege asked you, to contact me to confirm they indeed approached you, instead of doing the logical thing, and ask me about the race.
Once they do, I'll be happy to issue an apology to you, in this thread, despite your numerous rude comments about me on Facebook.

You know Mr Swiss- some people who are regular participants in the IRRL are not comfortable talking with you. Shocking isn't it given your history of public outbursts and even incidents of violence.
And the remark about your typing skills was questioning your effective use of time- as a business person and former employee of one of the largest Chicago based companies, I value time apparently more than you do. This is why I stay out of these pointless grade school jib-jabs back and forth with yourself and your minions -they simply aren't worth my time.
It's truly a shame that the question couldn't just have been answered in a few words rather than the pointless diatribe above.

Including when you took the time to post there how I slighted you by ignoring you when you visited my raceway.
When Bernie pointed out "What do you expect when you continually badmouth him here?"
The best reply you could come up with was
"I'm just telling the truth".
What kind of fantasy world do you reside in where you think as long as insults of an individual are accurate, then you qualify for some sort of "cone of immunity" where I have to still treat you like a normal customer when I see you?
I know you're still mad from when I sternly told you to not distract the turn marshals when the race is going on, but my God,that was in 2007.
You need to take a lesson from the Pro racers of old.
If we couldn't let things go, over every 10 second snippy exchange during a race, we would of all killed each other, and Brad Friesner and John Waller would be having 2 man G7 races to see who is the National Champion.

Ok, I'll butt my nose in.
This is ... awkward. Makes ME uncomfortable and I don't have a horse in this race. I hope folks here can put this topic to rest now? Thank you gentlemen.

What has most of the BS above got to do with slot racing?
Please take and keep your snide comments to PM - not in a public forum!
Mods - when are you going to clean this act up?

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap
