Mike,
When you reassemble the track will you please give come consideration toward elevating it? It would be much easier to marshell.

Mike,
That would be awesome and could only make the racing experience better.

Congratulations Mike!
How long do you think it will take to be fully operational at the new location? Your location photo looks quite spacious. Can't wait to see the moving in progress photos.

I've already studied the logistics.
Just cut some holes in the floor for the marshals to get down in.
Kinda reminds me of an old joke. A guy would pass this farm every day on his way home from work and he'd see this farmer out there jacking up the side of his barn with an old mule standing there watching. So finally one day he stopped to ask the farmer why he did that. The farmer said, this old mule's ears are to long and tender and he hits them on the top of the door and he won't go in the barn. So the guy says, why don't you just dig the dirt out under the door. The farmer says, you ain't listening sonny, it's his ears that are to long not his legs.

Agreed.
I just have to be careful not to go too tall.
I've done 41 parties in first 3 months, mostly with young kids, and I want them to still be able to see.

Simpleton Wally Gator thought ...
... put a full length raised (no slip taped) step at the drivers panel.
Maybe a railing on the side of each station and a slick surface full 'hip roof' or domed style infield with a themed wrap or airbrush scale scene.
Kids are getting taller while marshals are getting older.
Raise the bar! You're good ... working with wood, No?
Donations for materials? I'll chip in....

Mike, how big is your current location?
Are we going to have a re-braiding party during the move?

Thought of already, but because of the transition leading into the Bank, Black and Purple would be real tough for the drivers to put their car on.

Isn't all relative?
Would a two step next to black work? .... for the of # times those two lanes have the driver place the car in front of them ... mostly for test and tune in practice mode.
I don't think the two step would get much traffic....
Or ....... how about cut down a (found it at the curb) railing style swimming pool ladder or two step roll-around .... BOCA and OSHA approved... lol

The move was complete by the end of the day, Thursday, with me wrapping it up with the small stuff I can take in my wife's Element.
All the heavy stuff got done on Tuesday and Wednesday.
My wife, Jackie, picked up and drove the truck for a few runs on Tuesday and helped pack the misc stuff.
Manta Ray Price also helped on Tuesday.
The main crew, along with myself were four local racers, Randy Kremer, Brian Meharry, Kevin Van Pelt, and Lee Verdich.
My reply, on Facebook, when asked how the move went;
Other than a sort of hidden production screw that kept us from pulling apart the last two sections of the King for a few minutes, and a Tapcon my electrician put in a bad place four years ago, to remove on Wednesday, IMO, it couldn't have gone better.
Along with my wife packing and driving one day, and a little help from Ray, we had 1-63 yr. old,, 3-58 yr. olds, and the secret to success, 1-35 yr. old Mr. Awesome, Brian Meharry.
Like my chant went, as we were finishing up the heavy stuff on Wednesday, "Ya need the one effin' young guy". LOL.
Super-thanks to all the above, on the terrific job on getting the raceway moved safely and in great shape.

That's one thing about slot racers. They jump in when the chips are down...wee...at least most of them! LOL
Glad to here the move went as smoothly as it did.
