For those looking for more light over the work area, this oughtta do just fine.  Considering it's 30 watts of wide/bright (6000K) led light, that should be somewhere around the equivalent of night time stadium lighting    The articulating arm is an especially helpful feature.  BTW, jewelry-making websites/suppliers have a lot of tools and doo-dads that are naturally also applicable for slots-type stuff.

To reduce shadows in my little work area I recently swapped out for 2 60W daylight LEDs that I got at Lowes.  Really helps....
