What gauge is the Kelly wire?

Not sure Bob , D.Z. might remember.
I remember it was tested with some wing cars with no noticeable change in lap times..so I'm satisifed they'd be no power loss with my little retro Hawks..lol...trick was to keep from breaking in a race..now it's not a problem ...

I can't remember the gauge, either. I've used it up to GP 12 motors with no power loss. I like the fact it is so light. It saves on what I consider dead weight.
