I want to start off some dialogue concerning next season. What are we going to do?

In the last month, I have talked to many drivers who competed in the series in 2014. I could not find one driver who liked the 3 car class format and breaking the year into 3 distinct parts. For example, nobody liked racing GT1 cars during the first 4 months then putting these cars away for 8 months; that was ridiculous. The same can be said for all of the car classes.

So how do we move on into 2015?  I propose that we go back to the format used in 2013 and run all 5 car classes that we raced then. If the race directors will stick to a strict time schedule, we could be done by 2 to 3pm every race day (except in Jacksonville which always has a great local turnout).

And limit the number of track calls. A car on the floor is not a track call as long as there is a turn marshal. Two cars off in front of a turn marshal is not a track call. Obviously, if the car is not marshal-able then its a track call. The only thing that we are allowed to do to a car during a track call is to fix the braid.

One thing to consider, is that we have only 4 tracks in Florida and the year has 12 months. How do we break up the year? How about having a Winter/Spring series and a Summer/Fall series. Or we could do three series as in 2014.

If you have been involved in the series, please give us your ideas.

Of course I'll ask Terry and Doc as soon as I see them, but in case I forget something can u help pleez?

How low do you guys go? (axle height setup for NASCAR, LMP, GTP)

What chassis does everyone run in GTP?  GTP Body? 10/35-36?

In terms of C11 vs X25 (.025 pans) - is there any secret to which one runs best on the 4 tracks in the circuit?

Jax Feb 7th I'm told the X25 (.025 pans) is the car for LMP - NASCAR too?

Jax GTP setup?

Since we discussed the motor rules in another thread, I would like to address the overall rules here.

The Florida MySeries races are very well run and there is a lot of competition. However, I would like to encourage the raceway owners to inform their local drivers to read the rules, the complete rules. I am thinking that the body rules are being ignored, especially in the 3 flexi classes. If the local races allow cheated up bodies (relative to the MySeries rules) when it comes to the local racer attempting to enter the MySeries race at their home track, they should be bounced. A specific case has come to my attention that the 1/8" bumper rules for 4" NASCAR are being violated. There are also bumper rules for LMP and GTP.

Let's have a great race event at P1.

Doc, I listened to you when you showed me the bumper I cut too much, darn kelly daytona front ends start sagging after a few smashes -  :bomb:

Pretty soon I'll have a plastic tub of bodies like Terry - I've got new bodies in the Race Pace paint shop  :good:

Awesome Charlie. There's a nickname for you.  I agree; the Kelly body takes a beating in the 4" NASCAR class.  There is a lot of crashing in that class.

Bill Pinch's paint shop is called the Race Pace.  He's painted thousands of bodies over the years and I even see them on ebay on various used cars.

Bill Pinch will be racing with us Saturday at P-1 Raceway.  Last night he said he needed to throw some cars together this week.  I told him I have a backup GT-1/LMP and NASCAR that he is welcome to use and he liked the idea - hopefully someone can volunteer a better car(s) for Bill?

I hope Jeff Cox is tough in tech this Saturday - who is ready?  I'm bringing a couple new racers too - who else can bring a friend?

I have tried to contact Greg Walker at The Race Place without success so far to find out the schedule for the MySeries race April 11th.

If anyone knows what days and what hours he will be open I would appreciate if that info could be posted. Thank You!!!

That's thirty minutes away. I'll be there in ten.

We will start with 4" NASCAR 0n the tri-oval, then GT1/LMP, GTP, Group F, and finally Group 12. These last four car classes are run on the road course. We should have practice until about 9:30am or so. Then start the 4" NASCAR race.
