Home Depot was advertising those real heavy on the radio, before Christmas, to buy on their online store for $999.
I doubt the resolution is very good.

This is an FDM. I don't consider the surface finish of an FDM good enough for what we do.

I emailed my brother about this printer because he is looking to buy one. Here's what he said about it.
I would not buy this printer for several reasons.
It's made in China.
It only prints with one kind of plastic and their spools of it are overpriced.
It comes with its own special software and it's not very good.
There are more reasons not to get this printer.
His first choice is the MakerGear M2 printer.

The point is, gentleman... I bet Wolowitz can purchase that same machine or one with a few more bells for $2,499 today.
I must be the only person in the US who has never seen "The Big Bang Theory", or remembers seeing it. LOL.

I grew up watching Sky King on Saturday afternoons. Watched Amos and Andy. Watched Fury, My Friend Flicka, and all that old black and white TV stuff.
You ain't the only old geezer on here John... LOL.
Can remember when Bonanza was black and white broadcasts, and when they changed to color 'cause dad bought a Zenith color TV just so he could watch it in color.
